It was a somewhat overcast dark morning and I wanted to capture some Birds in Flight (BIF). The place I headed for was little swamp area with frogs, ducks and an occasional Great Blue Heron. As I approached the I set my camera up to 800 ISO and F stop 2.8 for a shutter speed of 1/2000 sec, as I know things can happen fast. Well, I was about 100 feet in and by swamp when all of a sudden there was the Thunder of winds flapping this GBH was in the sky and my heart went crazy with adrenalin. I squeezed off several shots and luck was on my side-as you see here. This is my of my favorite pictures.
