The first day the sky seemed sort of smoggy was not sure the cause of the problem. Next day was worse, I ask someone if they knew why the skies looked so smoggy, I was told there was a fire burning a few hundred miles away. Well that dashed my hope of getting a sunset of the Tetons reflecting in Jackson Lake. Late afternoon I walked the mile or more to the point I had planned on taking my sunset shot and they smoke was pretty thick over the Tetons. Walked all the way back and was going to give up the idea and then I thought no maybe the cool night air will push the smoke to the ground. So later I walked back out to the point again and waited. This is the image I captured. There are three exposures blended in PS.
