At about two miles south of Depoe Bay on the Oregon Coast take the exit to the Otter Rock Loop. This is the first bridge you cross after exiting Highway 101.
I had passed this bridge many times and wondered if their was a decent photo looking under the bridge at sunset. Their is quite a steep slope to maneuver and some blackberry bushes, but I was rewarded with a view including the waterfall which cannot be seen from above. I took four photos to account for the wide contrast in the scene and combined them into an HDR image with Photomatix Pro.
This is one of the many bridges crossing creeks along Highway 101 on the central Oregon coast. An interesting feature is the man-made waterfall diverting water from Rocky Creek into the ocean.
