On a beautiful day in the month of August I was in Grand Lake area searching for moose. I was not having any good luck and then I came upon a beautiful patch of Butter and Eggs wildflowers that grabbed my attention. Most of them were at their peak bloom. As I was checking them out for photography opportunities I noticed several Broad-tailed Hummingbirds that were thriving on this flower patch. I took advantage of this opportunity and went there for several days. My main goal for images was flight shots with the early morning or late afternoon natural sunlight.
