From M-28, take M-221 to Brimley, go west on Lake Shore 7 miles.
I used a circular polarizer to enhance the blue hue of the sky and to bring out the vibrant colors of the fall foliage on the bluff.
The photo was taken at the shorelines of Monocle lake in Upper Peninsula, Michigan. I went here early morning to capture the light as it hits the bluff with fall colored trees. The tree lines are reflected on the tranquil surface of the lake showcasing its vibrant colors. This kind of scene conveys a certain connection between the earth, water and the sky.
