Description

There was less than an hour of light left on a very overcast day in the mountains of western Maine when I finally got to Grafton Knotch State Park. It was my first visit to Screw Auger Falls. I shot many angles of the multi-tiered cascade, but it was this small section higher upstream, colorfully framed by the fall foliage, that was my first view and my favorite.
