I had planned on driving to Dolly Sods this day for some autumn shots but it was raining where I live and I didn't want to drive 4 hours for rainy weather. I heard a little later that Davis was getting some snow so I decided to chance it and got there about an hour before sunset. It was still snowing so I set up my gear and prayed for a break in the snow and clouds. About 15 minutes before sunset, the sun peeked through for a few minutes and gave some great light.
Sunset, snow, and autumn color combine for a wonderful few moments in time.
