Anchorage. Private flight to the Lake Crescent area
This trip was specifically for grizzly bear and we were fortunate enough to be the last people allowed into this area before winter set in and shut down access to the area.
After a few long day of no bear sightings I was finally able to photograph my first brown bear. The sow was patrolling the shores of a glacier fed lake deep in the Alaskan wilderness. As I spotted her from a distance heading towards me, I positioned my self safely in order to obtain a shot. She proceeded toward me and then so conveniently positioned herself on the waters edge with the beautiful Fall colors in the background. It was the start to an amazing Alaskan adventure.
