This was towards the end of a major low pressure system that tormented the southwestern United States in January of 2010. Historic amounts of rain, hail, straight line winds over 70mph and tornado warnings. The Beeline Highway is one of my favorite roads in Arizona and this photo took about 15 minutes to accomplish while I waited for traffic to subside. The image is an HDR from three exposures.
