We had left the parking lot near the Continental Divide early in the afternoon to hike higher in the Glacier National Park mountains searching for bighorn sheep. We found lots of mountain goats, but no bighorn. So we returned to the parking lot. When we arrived it was nearing dark, and only a couple of cars remained. And that, apparently, is when the sheep come out...searching for dropped cheetos in the empty lot. Being the only people present, my wife and I could roam among the friendly sheep as they fed, shooting at will. I particularly like the way the eye is framed in the curl of the horn in this shot.
