Description

The snow is melting and the creeks are filled in the spring and early summer seasons of the North Cascades NP, creating waterfalls all around. The trick is being able to get to them to take a picture. I tied my tripod to a tree so that it would lean out over the passing creek midway in this cascading waterfall. I held onto the tree so that I could set up the shot and then used a remote release for the long shutter speed. This photo was taken in May 2013
