Description

American Goldfinch, Carduelis tristis, in winter plumage perches on white pine giving it a perfect vantage point for my feeders. While I miss the vibrant colors present in other seasons, I love the more subtle hues that are sometimes overlooked on snowy, overcast days of winter. Each season has its own beauty.
