The Full Wolf Moon rising over the illuminated Horseshoe Falls photographed from Niagara Falls, Canada. Full Wolf moon is the full moon of January and there are clear signs of winter on the foreground vegetation in the foreground. As the mist constantly rises over the falls and wraps everything around in moisture, cool temperatures turn that moisture into a blanket of white. The illumination of Niagara Falls lights up both the Canadian Falls (Horseshoe Falls photographed here) and the American Falls. Its timing varies throughout the year and usually starts at dusk. The colors vary among red, blue, purple, white, green, and possibly others. I've also seen a variety of colors at once long time ago but not on this occasion. Winter offers a very unique view of this wonderful waterfall. There are fewer people around compared to summer, almost everything is dressed in white, it is very chilly. it is all so much more intense!
