Snow and ice incased this forest in early December 2010. At elevations below 800 feet there was no snow, but on the tops of the mountains it looked like this. In these higher elevations, moisture pushes across the mountain tops in the form of clouds. That moisture freezes to everything it comes in contact with creating amazing winter scenes. There was only one way to get my first pictures of the 2010-2011 season and that was to hike to the top. So, that's what happen and this is what I got! Emjoy!
