Driving the road to Maroon Lake and Maroon Bells I was struck by the vertical lines and patterns between the gold aspens and evergreens on the hillsides. Only a 70-200 mm would do justice to what I saw. Got out my Canon 70-200 mm 2.8 and proceeded to try to find a composition that worked.
