These plants are found in a few Sierra Nevada Mountain streams, including a few in the Yosemite area. This location is along a creek near Quincy, CA., along Highway 70.

Description

These lovely oversized leaves emerge each spring after long naked stalks arise from the spring floods, bearing delicate clusters of pink flowers. Most of these leaves are larger than a dinner platter.
