My first actual camera could not have come soon enough. Three days before the long flight to Capetown South Africa was all I had to learn the in and outs of the electronics in my new 35mm camera. Before it had been an old Russian Zenit. As we landed in Capetown I put my camera to good use shooting up 15 rolls in 3 days. After a brief tour around the harbor I began to realize that this as going to get expensive (seeing as I was a poor college student) so I scaled back and really began to think about my shots. The patience paid off when we got to Cape Point were the rocky cliffs and blue waters made for a photographers dreamscape. This was taken while precariously hanging over the railing looking down at the water 250 feet below.
