Description

Now better known for its casinos, Cripple Creek was at one time known as "The World's Greatest Gold Camp" and the money that came out of the mines surrounding this town helped build the city of Colorado Springs. As one approaches Cripple Creek from the north an overlook on a hill above the town allows a panoramic view of the buildings and the Continental Divide in the distance.
