Wild Olympic

Posted By Ian Plant

(© Ian Plant) I’ve just added a new gallery to my website, Wild Olympic, which features images I have taken over the past few years in Olympic National Park, Washington. In addition, I’ve posted a number of recent Olympic images on my photoblog, describing in each post the technical and artistic choices that went into the making of the photos. Feel free to check them out when you get a chance, thanks!

The image above, “Jurassic,” was made in the Quinault Rain Forest, one of the most hauntingly beautiful places I have ever seen. I half expected to be attacked by dinosaurs (I got mosquitoes instead), hence the title. I describe the making of this image in more detail on my photoblog.

P.S. Don’t forget to check out my new line of Photoshop video turorials. They’re extremely helpful, and even better, really cheap.
