Behind The Shot: “Flowerbow” by Olar Barndõk – Monti Sibillini National Park, Italy

Meadow with flowers in the valley between the hills was covered with thick layer of fog. There was cold night with minus temperature. After sunrise fog started to disappear and I saw that huge fogbow started to be visible for 10 minutes. Picture is taken in Italy, Sibillini Mountains National Park. 2 stitched images are used because 24 mm lens was too narrow. I spent my holiday in Italy where I also visited Monti Sibillini National Park. I read from the web that June is a good time to visit as there are lots of flowers, nights are cold and days are warm. This means that mountain valleys are covered with fog and at sunrise you can get …
