How to sell photos on Flickr

Digital Photography School recently published a short post about what to do when someone offers to buy a photograph you’ve published on Flickr. The story contains some good guidelines in and of itself—tips such as “don’t be afraid to ask for compensation” and “don’t give away the copyright.” Even better, though, and what makes online forums like this so valuable, is the rich conversation that springs up in the comments section. Equally informative, if not more so, are the personal stories and suggestions about licensing images for commercial use that follow the story.
