A Sneak Peak at Photoshop CS5?

Adobe Creative Technologies Lab researcher Dan Goldman has demonstrated an exciting new repair tool destined for greatness. The tool is powered by PatchMatch technology, and it provides content-aware spot healing capabilities destined for inclusion in the next version of Photoshop. The video, uploaded to Facebook by Adobe, doesn’t dwell so much on the arcane explanations of algorithms—rather it shows through multiple examples just how powerful this improved spot and fill tool can be in a variety of circumstances.
