Design your own KATA camera bag

KATA, makers of those famous camera bags with the neon interior, have just announced a contest. Not your regular photo contest, though, this one requires that you play industrial designer and create your own camera bag. The KATA Dream Bag Challenge invites you to submit your best design to become a real life camera carrier. It doesn't matter if you can't draw; the company is more concerned with great ideas than great sketches. Watch the instructional video at KATA's web site, then get cracking on your design. If you win, not only will they build your dream bag for you, they'll fill it with a Canon EOS 5D Mark 2, two lenses, a Gitzo traveler kit and Litepanels Micropro on-camera lighting. As they say at KATA, be sure you "think outside the bag."
