Your Favorite Places
In the printed pages of Outdoor Photographer, a longtime favorite feature is the Favorite Places column. In it, readers have the opportunity to virtually accompany a photographer to one of his or her most treasured photo locations. The neat part about it is that the photographer leads the readers on a guided tour, not only to the best spots at that location but how to get there, the best time of year to go, what to look for, and all of the insider information that only an experienced guide could provide.
Did you know there’s another spot for favorite places in OP? This one is Your Favorite Places, and it lives online at this very web site. Your Favorite Places is your opportunity to submit, you guessed it, your favorite photo locations to the magazine’s online readership. Share your photos, and your insights, tips and advice. What makes this location so special? When do you suggest we go? Can you prove it with a spectacular photograph? No matter the answers to those questions, it’s fun to participate. After all, it’s your opportunity to share your specialized photography knowledge and get your work published alongside some of the greatest outdoor photographers in the world.
