Bokeh is a new plug-in for Photoshop from Alien Skin Software that lets you simulate the effect of a tilt-shift/perspective control Lens or Lensbaby, allowing you manipulate the depth of field in your photos and isolate your subjects from the background. The software consists of six different Focus Regions you can select for blurring and adjusting the focusing sweet spot, which include three that let you use the Selection Tool in Photoshop to isolate the elements you want to keep in focus, and three other tools that can be used without selections. Bokeh is quite easy to use and makes flower macros, landscapes and other nature photographs look unique and compelling, and the best part is that it can all be done after capturing your image. If you would like to try out the software, Bokeh is available for a free 30-day trial, and can be accessed by clicking here. The plug-in costs $199, and you can find out more information on the Bokeh plug-in by visiting www.alienskin.com. Add Comment |
