Springtime is the right time for macro

After all the interesting snow and ice galleries that have been holding my interest lately, it's nice to see some photography worthy of the warming weather. Over at the Tamron blog, Rob Moody pulled out his Tamron extreme zoom for some super-closeups of spring buds in burgeoning bloom. The close-ups—and the warming weather—are all the inspiration I need to get outside and photograph the arrival of spring.
