All around this is a magnificent shot. There’s detail and texture in the highlight and the shadows. The beam of light leads from a slightly blown out area and it hits the canyon floor creating another slightly blown out area, but both of these bright highlights are relatively small compared to the rest of the frame which keeps them from being too much of a distraction. The framing of the image is excellent. Corners and edges are clean and the angle of the shaft of light helps make the image dynamic. All in all an excellent image that we think is worthy of a spot in a frame on the wall.
