Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT Photo Contest Winner

Once again, the judges pored through the avalanche of entries in the second Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT Photo Contest in Outdoor Photographer to find a winner to take home this compact, full-featured digital SLR. The EOS Digital Rebel XT features an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor, the powerful DIGIC II image processor and compatibility with more than 50 Canon EF and EF-S lenses.

The contest winner is Carolyn Slay of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The judges liked Slay’s distinctive composition, which played the spot of colorful leaf against the rest of the frame, as well as her excellent juxtaposition of textures in this unique close-up view.
