bit the bullet

it was a little pricey but i don't regret it one bit. this has to be the best tripod i ever used for the outdoors. this tripod weighs less than the plastic ones and its machined from billet aluminum. i did some research on it and was able to contact some friends that use it for glassing when they hunt. some of them use it when they record the hunt on video. i ended up contacting the manufacturer at rcm@cbiwireless.com. they were able to answer my questions. avid hunters, but really enjoy the outdoors like the rest of us
