That's a great picture! Pat will be happy to know that SOMEONE is impressed with the size of his lens!

ahaha yeahh. I guess i had that smile on my face THE WHOLE game(well games, since we shot two - different days though)...or so said my mentor. :D
funny though. after using the 300 prime, the 70-200 L 2.8 doesn't seem so big now. :D haha.

Went south from Green Valley, AZ today to Patagonia, AZ for their annual Craft Fair, and there were a bunch of motorcycles parked on a side street- I thought this was a fun picture.

This was my first outing after my eye surgery, and I realized that I could still compose the picture with my "bad" eye, (which I've been doing with this eye for 40+ years- can't teach an old dog new tricks, it seems) and let autofocus do it's "thing".

Anyway- this was an exhaust on a Harley.......with me in the shiny chrome......

:) I think after a certain point it's about expression, and art.

tocorro wrote:How to take my own family portrait? Hi all! I've been getting requests from my family for a professional-looking family portrait of my husband and I and our kids, like what you'd get from Olan Mills. How should I go about doing this? I need some suggestions on lighting, backdrops, camera settings, etc. I've never taken a portrait photo before, just candid shots, so I'm kinda clueless. Thanks for any advice.
