Just thought I would ask your advice here.
I have seen a wildlife photographic competition being run over here in the UK, but one of the entry regulations is that any image entered you give them the right to free use of that image regardless of wether it wins or not.
I don't feel comfortable with this rule and probabley won't enter and if I did it wouldn't be my all time favourite shot because why should they get the use of my hard work for free.
Now if my image won then I would feel much happier about it.
I've only really entered one competition before and it didn't have a rule like this. Is this common or do you feel these guys could just be trawling for free images to use.
If you want to edit any of my images to demonstrate points/techniques to either myself or others please feel free to do so.
Still learning with Canon 40D, 28-135mm, 100-400mm L and Elements 6.
Any Advice greatfully received.
