Taking a scenic photograph early in the morning will produce a different range of tones that could be found taking the scenic photograph later in the evening.

I recently taught a beginner photography class. One of the assignments was for the students to shoot the same scene under different light conditions. The differences illustrated of your point very well, Macro.

I agree. I like the morning light better in most circumstances, but I have to get up pretty early to capitalize up here, then again I have to stay up pretty late to get evening light, too.

My trick in summer is to sleep durring the day and shoot through the night if I can. It is much cooler and more pleasant as well.

One trick that my wife and I found while traveling. During the mid day sun where you can normally not get too many good shots, if we're anywhere tropical or near the water, that is the best time to get good underwater shots.

It's so hard to get good shots under water without powerful strobes unless you shoot during the mid-day high sun.

Good thing to know while traveling in the tropics and dont have anything to do but sip on cocktails!!
