Bear Lake Area, Alaska

Postby admssrchr » Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:55 am

Hi everyone. I'm new to this website and to photography. This is a photo I took in May 2007 just north of Seward, Alaska. I think it was Bear Lake but there were so many lakes I could have gotten them confused.

You need to place it in a server where you can have a direct link, ex: www.mydomain.com/myphoto.jpg and then highlight the link and click on thr "Img" button on the message post page here.

The link you provided won't work because it's not a direct link to an image.

Jim,

Welcome to the forum. That was a beautiful shot. The reflection is perfect. There are some free sites that will allow you to link directly from their site. I believe Photobucket allows direct links.

There are a number of very reasonable pay sites too that don't restrict your file sizes and allow direct links. I belong to Pbase :
http://www.pbase.com

and Pbase allows you 500MB of storage for $23 a year. I think it's quite a bargain.
