Moon over Eagle River taken through a telescope

Postby totalyfrozen » Tue Feb 23, 2010 11:04 am

So I took these through my telescope last night since it was so clear out, I ended up using my Nikon S220 and shooting through the eyepiece. I am waiting for my autoguider/camera to show up so that I can use my Canon 5D with the telescope to get some good shots but until then I have to stick with this method.. Which didn't come out too bad.

The greenish tint is from an LPR filter that I used to help cut out some of the light pollution.
