Still no such thing as a free lunch -unless you're a crab spider.

All Canon gear: Xti (manual mode F10, 1/200, ISO 100) + 1.4 teleconverter + 25mm extension tube + 100mm macro lens. MR-14EX ring flash set to a 4:1 ratio and -1/3 FEC. Some images at max magnification (about 2x).

i think that is the prettiest house fly i have ever seen.

They look completely different when they are magnified :D

You did notice the spider? A few people have looked at those images and did't see the spider...

i saw him right away. as a hunter i truely appreciated his camo. :wink:

Sometimes I don't see them when I'm out shooting -I just see a fly in an odd position and know that a crab spider is holding on to it...
