Palo Duro Canyon, Texas

Postby maxvenum » Thu Jul 26, 2007 10:36 pm

Hey!

I am planning a 2 or 3 day trip to Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo, Texas, in a month. Anyone have any suggestions as to where the good spots are for photography?

For anyone not familiar with Palo Duro Canyon, it is absolutely gorgeous and quite surprising. Amarillo is in the middle of the panhandle of Texas--nothing but plains, cows, and wheat. Then, out of the blue, there is this canyon with multitudes of colors. I have been there a handful of times in my life, but I have never really explored the canyon or photographed it. If you are ever near Amarillo, it is well worth the stop.

Thanks,
Tobyn

Sorry, I've never been there, but now it's on my places to stop and see when traveling through Texas.

Please post some shots when you return from your trip

Good Luck
