Hamburg State Park Mill & Pond

Postby Pokie » Tue Nov 17, 2009 3:59 pm

I got out on Sunday to take some shots at a state park in our county.
The park has a mill, complete with a lake, dam and spillway.
This summer and fall have been SO WET that there is water running across the entire spillway.
It's been so dry prior to this I can't remember the last time that we had any water across the spillway.
The light wasn't great - well, it was great for lolling around in the sun - but not great for photography.
Crystal clear blue skies. Perfect fall day.
Even with a split neutral density filter, I couldn't balance the sky and foreground.
Hopefully I'll get these under better light before we lose all the leaves!
C&C welcome

Some good shots there Pokie really really like that last one.

Your work seems a lot more "thought out" recently and I think it shows in the images.

Thanks for sharing.

I really like this series
Love the starburst in the first shot, the soft water in the last two and the entire feeling the series gives
