Tethered shooting

Postby kombizz » Wed Jul 30, 2008 12:27 am

What I understood about the tethered shooting is that,
"If you are able to connect your camera directly to the computer, Lightroom has the potential to let you import image files directly from the camera.

Photographs can be quickly brought into Lightroom, bypassing the need for a camera card and having to configure the Import settings every time you import a batch of images."

Now, my question is, if there are any softwares which do the tethered shooting? Also does this software works work for any kind of digital camera or only DSLR.

Thanks
I was born and brought up in Iran, a beautiful country full of history.

I know that the software that came with my Canon's, any one of them I've had over the years, had software included that would allow you to shoot teathered.

I only tried it one time at a studio shoot and had my brother on the lap top with the guy I was shooting the products for. They sat in the other room and would tell me whether I was getting what they were looking for. If I was to do more studio work, I'd probably buy the wireless piece that allows you to transfer files to the cpu or hard drive without being tethered.

But all adds to the ever growing wish list :D
