Oh i forgot to say that the trip was boring for me, i enjoyed the beauty of New Zealand and really i got amazed of lots of scenic views there, but i struggled alone to move around and last week most of my budget ran out so i went back to the city where i fly back home and stayed at hotel, really even if i am in Paradise but alone and no much budget and don't know how to move you can't do anything, and i don't drive overseas.

Hey Robin, I use the Pentax K10, the K20, and the new K7. I have been looking at the Canon only because of the range of lenes they offer. However, I have looked at the Canon 50D, 5D, and Nikon 90. I am amazed at how cheap the housing is when compared to my Pentax. When compared in price, there is no comparison. I read reviews on Amazon, Pop Photo, and Adorama. The percentage of people who have problems with the Canon and Nikon brands appears to be high compared to the price what they charge and the quality of their equipment. I spend months reading reviews on line and in magazines prior to making a purchase. My pictures are shape, clean, focused, very good color and high quality. Because my cameras have stabalization in the body I can use any of the Pentax Lens. Like I said I have spent months considering a Canon or Nikon and have decided to stay with my Pentax. You are paying for Canon/Nikon name. Everyone do yourself a favor take the time and visit a camera store and check out the Pentax K20. It originally sold for $1400.00 but dropped to around $700.00 when the K7 came out. Thanks for allowing me to share my opinions. :D

Hello Everyone..

Right now I am using Leica Digilux 3 Digital Camera.

I love its Camera performance, as expected, is very good, with quick start up times, minimal shutter lag, and great shot to shot times. The one area in which shutter lag is much higher is when you’re using the Live View mode. The mirror starts locked up (so the image can be seen on the LCD) and when you take the shot, the mirror has to cycle twice – once to get exposure information and once to capture the image.

Handling. This is the controversial side of this camera, you’ll either love it or hate it so I highly recommend trying one out first. I would recommend using two hands almost always (especially if you have small hands). It's definitely thick and heavy which can be a problem, and even fatiguing, but didn’t stop me from enjoying it.

Flash performance is good at about 19ft in auto mode and the bounce flash is nice to have.Auto focus performance was good but at times could take a bit longer than I’d like.

Overall I am very impressed with this camera. The image quality is excellent and the camera works well. As far as lenses go this is by far the best in class (kit lenses) I also liked the ergonomics/styling of the camera for the most part. I like the retro controls, so much more fun than pushing buttons and navigating menus. So much more Leica, gives it a somewhat mechanical feel which I love.

Hello Everyone! :D

I'm new here, also. I shoot a Pentax K100D with 4 different types of Len's. Just starting to learn IR Photography and I've got a whole lot to learn. Trying to figure out how to edit my IR Images using PSPX2. Having a heck of a time trying to figure it out.

Hello everybody.
Now a Canon 5D + a Canon 24-105 F4 IS L lens as my main walk around camera.
I also use a Canon 40D used mostly with a Canon 100-400 F4 L for urban wildlife (mostly birds) and motor sport.
I do have a number of fast (>=F2) primes for specialised use and a macro lens and 3 other zooms that are only used occasionally depending on what and where I am shooting.

I use a Nikon D50 with the kit lenses, Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200, plus I added a Quantaray 70-300 macro. I have a Nikon SB-600 for those rare occasions I need a flash. I'm hoping to upgrade soon though.

Hi Guys,
My first true camera was a yashica, can't even remember the serie.

I've used for 8 years a sony f505v. I was really young at that time and this camera was great to learn and discover digital photography. I loved that camera. then it broke. I bought an Sony H2 but wasn't happy with it. It wasn't a bad one but it didn't feel right in my hands. Can't explain it.

I've bought my 1st SLR about 6 months ago, a Sony Alpha 350. I mostly use it with his standard 18-70 lens and for outdoor I use a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6. I'd like to buy a 400mm f/2.8, but it's just too expensive for my use and can't afford it.
