Nikon 35 f/2.8 PC

Postby mhayes » Sat Oct 13, 2007 3:13 pm

I've seen a couple of articles about tilt/shift lenses lately. The Nikkor 35 f/2.8 PC is a shift only lens. Does anyone use this lens? It seems to me it may be useful for panoramic and architectural shots, but what else?

You can get very creative with that. I used the Canon TS-45 from Canon in Yellowstone and the only think that it's keeping me from buying it is the price ($1000). It does have quite a bit of a learning curve but the possibilities are endless.

I took this photo with that lens and had 3 photographers of Nat. Geographic caliber giving me the "Wow!" :)

Consider that it was about 10am and the sun at 8000 ft. is very strong.
