I'm sure when it first comes out, there is going to be so much price gouging going on, I'll stick around and wait till it drops to the listed price.

Maybe the 50D's or the Mark III with the 45 point autofocus will come down in price, and those are the two that I'm looking at.

It does look like a sweet camera though

From the Canon website:

The EOS 7D's Intelligent Viewfinder, an entirely newly-designed technology, provides 100% coverage and displays user-selected AF modes as well as a spot metering circle and on demand grid lines.

[...]

Intelligent Viewfinder with 100% field of view, wide viewing angle of 29.4°, high magnification of 1.0, intelligent viewfinder with glass pentaprism and an overlaid LCD display in viewfinder supports various shooting styles. Large, bright 2.8inch Vari-angle LCD with 461,000dots for shooting at a variety of angles plus an optical viewfinder. Improved Smart AUTO Mode intelligently selects the proper settings for the camera based on 22predefined shooting situations.

Non need for additional focusing screen (I just spent $40 for the gridded one for my 5D mark II).

When i knew it is a crop body i dumped it, the only crop factor camera body i will look at from Canon is 1D series.

I'm not quite that discriminatory, a good camera is a good camera. I have one of each (full frame and APS-C) and I like to keep it that way, I don't always have a use for full frame.

I have many cameras as well including APS-C [30D and 350D] and even P&S Nikon, but i only use full frame and fast 1D series cameras now, i never miss any of those APS-C and P&S, and i will not buy any APS-C in the future as well.

I'm glad it works for you. Shooting wildlife and action/sports I prefer the APS-C.

i know why, for crop advantage, but which camera and lens do you use for the wildlife and action/sports?

Actually no, it's not for crop advantage, a cropped image from the 5D Mark II is as sharp as a non cropped image from the 50D. I do it for speed.
The 50D, it's twice as fast as the 5D Mark II and the 7D is even faster (8fps vs 3.6fps). I'm often published in ski magazines and I need to shoot an entire sequence with the highest number of frames.

And i shoot sports/action and wildlife with 1D mkIII and 1D mkIIN, both are 1.3x crop, and the first is 10fps and the second is 8fps, you know that no doubt.

Yeah, I also knows they're considerably more expensive than a 7D. I think I heard someone from Canon saying that the new 7D rivals those two in quality.
