I'm approaching the first anniversary of my first post to this forum.
You can find that post below - I was seeking advice on where to find color in late October along the Blue Ridge Parkway or eastern Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
In celebration of that milestone, in preparation for my fall trek back to the mountains, in hopes of getting some folks excited about shooting fall colors and scenery, and just to share a beautiful corner of the globe, I wanted to post several pictures from that trip.
How the Smokies got their name!
If I recall correctly, 1st two pics from BRP between Balsam Gap and Wolf Laurel Gap near Waynesville, NC
Along roadside near Clingman's Dome. Enveloped in fog.
Mingus Mill near North Carolina entrance to park
Reflection in Oconaluftee River
Reflection in pool near Chimney Tops trail head.
Falls near Chimney Tops trail head. West Prong Little Pigeon River (I think)
Breezy day - wind wouldn't stop and leaves wouldn't sit still for me.
I was happy just to be there weather wind cooperated or not.
Hope you like!
I came; I saw; I shot; I shared.
