Pics I took of a friend

Postby Mr.F » Fri Nov 21, 2008 12:47 pm

These are not wildlife scenery or adventure but they are outdoors & I wanted to show them off a little . I have been taking pics for one of my friends . These are from our last outing on Halloween .

This one was tricky with the shadow to direct sun clash causing clear lighting issues but i still think it looks neat

The bottom two seem to need more EV. The white and pink just wash themselves out.

That last picture would be awesome if the face wasnt so over exposed.

I'd try to reshoot them at a time of day when the light wasnt so harsh. Try later in the afternoon, right before sunset, or right after the sunrise or have a flash pop on 1/4 power to compensate for the heavy back lighting

I noticed the washing out effect with the lighter colored outfit & high direct sun too .
