Now we'll try a second one ... Any idea how to get them down to a "viewable" size? I re-sized to below 256KB but still have a large photo on screen ...
Here's "POOF"...-hopefully)

Hi Sirandi,
I have just posted on Dalantech's thread, but you need to reduce the image size in pixels. I try to limit my images to less than 800 wide. That way it should fit just fine.
Good Luck and welcome
Ed
If you want to edit any of my images to demonstrate points/techniques to either myself or others please feel free to do so.
Still learning with Canon 40D, 28-135mm, 100-400mm L and Elements 6.
Any Advice greatfully received.

Sirandi,
You have some nice stuff! The problem is that I can't see your pictures all at once; I have to scroll. Try reducing the size of your files some more so that they upload in one frame that is visible all at once. Look at the kilobites for other shots that have uploaded successfully, and try reducing yours to that size.

Both shots are great. I like the tree in the fog -- good use of negative space! How about the "POOF" shot?

Hey MCS ... A better view of "POOF" is up in Scenics Discussion ... Hope you like it.
And to the rest of the group, Thanks for the comments & advice ... I've been futzing around with cameras for quite some time but just went digital here is last year or so ... The better half of me kept after me to post other places besides work ... Says I'll get more frank reviews & tips ... So igave it a shot & she was right (generally is) ...
Altho' I love Macro nature & scenics, i shoot just about anything that'll stand still ... How does OP feel about subject matter other than OUTDOOR type stuff? Some of the sites i looked at wanted yoou to walk their straight & narrow (something I'm not real good at) ...
Anyway keep those cards & letters coming & i'll keep posting ...And with your help & guidance maybe I'll make something of this hobby yet .
Remember," wherever ya go, that's where you're at."
