lens cap keeper help

lens cap keeper help

My lens cap keeps falling off the keeper thing, the white squooshy stuff separates from the plastic circle thing attached to the keeper. I use glue but every so often it falls off. Should I try hot glue? Or is there something else? Do I need to improve my technological keeper naming skills?
