Collisions!

Postby Pokie » Wed Mar 18, 2009 5:05 pm

We finally had some day games where I didn't have to crank up the ISO and the grain to get a shot or two.
The first two were harsh - full sunlight on the bright white jerseys was a bit tough to handle.
I ended up underexposing by a bit to not blow out the white, and then planned to try to recover some of the darker areas.
At this point I haven't done much more than crop and edit levels.

C&C welcome.

Disclaimer:
To the best of my knowledge, no athletes were (permanently) harmed in the filming of these shots.
The kick in the head did result in a substitution and a bandage on the forehead.

Cool shots. Who got the 'dangerous play' call in the last shot?

I hope you showed that last shot to both players!! :D

Something tells me they'd both love to have a copy of it.

That is a serious catch on your part!!

#9 lives about 1/4 mile up the road and I work with his mom.
She already has the picture.
I know the father of a boy on the black team.
He's got a copy. I assume he's passed it on too.

Ref called a high kick.
