Sorry if this finds you a little late after your post, but I just joined the forum today.
I'm not trying to be insulting but since I don't know your level of experience with astronomy, in case you're not aware you are going to need a motor driven eq mount in order to take pics like the one you linked too. If you don't have some kind of motor drive, your not going to get much more then pictures of constillations and/or star trails (and/or shots of the moon). I don't know if they still do or not, but Orion telescopes used to make a decent little eq mount for cameras that could be hooked up to a motor drive for RA tracking...the whole package including the motor went for around $100 or so (USD).
Sorry if that doens't help you with the camera settings, but if you don't have some way to track, all the camera settings in the world aren't going to help you get started
