Downtown Jackson, TN

I guess this is the best place for these type of pics. I know this is a nature photography forum, but i'd realllllly liked to get y'alls opinions of my shots. These are my first "city shots". I found that i liked most of them in B&W, but i do belive i have most the pics in both color and B&W. :)
C&C welcome and you can edit the any of the images if you like. :)
.002, f/5.6, ISO 200(crooked i know, but i am unsure on how to fix it. i turn it and then it just looks funky. maybe its just me and my /poor/ editing skills)

.003, f/5.6, ISO 200 (i really liked the bright red on this church door)

.001, f/5.6, ISO 200 (i'm thinking i should've come closer to the "jackson square" sign????)

and just for fun...i really like this one. But that could be because i'm a teenaged girl who likes aviators and reflections.

Cool shots A.K.

If I could offer a few suggestions,

1st shot, fix the aspect as the steps are way off level

I like the second one the way it is

3rd shot I'd crop out a bit of the empty space in the road on the bottom of the image, but otherwise, I like this shot and the Black & White conversion is very good

The wires in the 4th shot ruin it for me

If you could pull some detail out of the clock in the 5th shot, I would like it better

And the last one is great just the way it is!

I agree about the wires, I think power lines should all be underground.

Pat,

thanks for those tips! I'll deff use them! I'm planning on going downtown of my town sometime. I despise wires...i don't have a program yet to clone them out - can you clone that much? And clock was tough. Since we could only go out in the middle of the afternoon, lighting was harsh.
thanx again. :)

I agree with you Otter...
