Canon 40D Firmware

Hi can anybody help me with a firmware problem. When I first got my 40d it was running Firmware 1.0.5. I thought I would update it to firmware 1.1.1. After the installation I find Photoshop no longer recognises the Raw file format. I cannot find a download to return it to firmware 1.0.5. only 1.0.8. but this still gives me the same problem. Anybody got any ideas please.

Have you tried checking Adobe for an update to your version of Photoshop?

Hi Bob_r, it seems that there is a conflict between CS2 and the latest firmware for the 40D. The answer is to buy CS3-4 or download Adobe's DNG converter. I have done this, it's a free download, it converts the CS2 files to DNG raw files and CS2 now opens them in the raw editor. Fixed, many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
