Running with the Reindeer in AK

Just bought a Canon 17-85 mm IS USM lens today, here are some of the photos taken during the Running of the Reindeer at Fur Rondy. There was quite a crowd so it was pretty difficult to get a good spot to take shots after they started to run. Also the blocks that they did this on was shadowed by the buildings as you can see in the photos. Still fun though, my wife and a few of her friends ran in with the reindeer.

Thanks, this coming weekend is the Grand Prix so I should have some race photos to post next week. I mostly do video for the race, I usually install a few cameras into the NAPA sponsored super beatle.. Pretty fun racing to watch.

Even "cooler" than the running of the bulls in Pamplona - by about 100 deg, I'd say...
